The College of Letters & Science and the Divisional Deans have a limited amount of funds to support academic conferences held at UCSB or its environs. Requests will be considered three times per year.
Deadlines: November 1, February 1, and May 1 at 5 pm

Submit completed requests to our Financial Coordinator, ltsc-conferencesupport@ucsb.edu, MC 2080. Electronic submissions are preferred.

Submissions should reach the College by close of business on the deadline date.

Individual faculty, groups of faculty, or units within the College of Letters & Science may submit applications for support.

Applicants should begin by requesting funds from their departments or programs, and are encouraged to consider all viable sources of funding.

All requests to the College will be reviewed by the Letters & Science Deans.

Decisions will be conveyed as soon as possible after the deadline for applications.
